Можно поменять на %%UNIT_ASSERT(s.empty())%%, но у этого изменения есть как минимум 2 недостатка (дальше со слов @sobols): - Если тест сломается и строчка станет непустой, мы не увидим красивого сообщения об ошибке, содержащего новое значение, а будет безликое сообщение про assertion failed. - Выглядит неоднородно с соседним кодом, который проверяет на непустые строчки.
